Debbie Evans – Owner / ISA Certified Arborist
Debbie was born and raised in Nacogdoches, Texas (home of Stephen F. Austin State University). In May of 2000 she graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. In January of 2001, Debbie married Lee Evans. In December of 2001, she graduated again with her Masters in Environmental Science from SFA and in January 2002 she worked as a staff scientist for an engineering and environmental consulting firm until the arrival of her daughter.
In April of 2006, Certified Arbor Care was born. Debbie is the life line of our organization and one of the lovely ladies you talk to when you call the office.
To date, Debbie has six years of experience in the arbor care industry and her professional certifications include: ISA Certified Arborist TX-3609A and Texas Oak Wilt Certified Arborist TOWC-1049.
Lee and Debbie have been blessed with 3 children, Ellie (August 2002), Michael (May 2005), Lillian (2012) and they currently live in Liberty Hill, Texas.

Lee Evans – Owner / ISA Certified Arborist
Lee was born and raised in Splendora, Texas. He attended the Arthur Temple College of Forestry at Stephen F. Austin State University (SFA) in Nacogdoches, Texas. After four and a half years of participating in Forestry Organizations, including serving as president of the Sylvans for two years, he graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Forestry in December of 2000.
In January of 2001, he married his wife, Debbie Magee and the following June they moved to Austin, where Lee took a job as an arborist.
To date he has twelve years of experience in the arbor care industry and his professional certifications and licenses include: ISA Certified Arborist TX-1339A, Texas Department of Agriculture Licensed Commercial Pesticide Applicator #0389620, and Texas Oak Wilt Certified Arborist TOWC-0024. As of October 2012, Lee was elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Texas Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture . Lee is also a member of the Society of Commercial Arboriculture.

Nathan Abbott – ISA Certified Arborist
Nathan was born in Charleston, West Virginia and raised in Sheldon, Texas. Nathan graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University Arthur Temple College of Forestry in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Forestry with an emphasis in Urban Forest Management. He participated in the Sylvan’s as a Projects Coordinator from 2008-2010.
Nathan started his urban forestry career here at Certified Arbor Care in January of 2011 and his professional certifications include: ISA Certified Arborist TX-3885A. Nathan is our residential and commercial arborist that is serving the Horseshoe Bay area and manages our extra services (stump grinding, fertilization, oak wilt, or anything not chainsaw related) for both Certified Arbor Care and our Sister Company Horseshoe Bay Tree Care.

Dan Hayden – ISA Certified Arborist
Dan was born and raised in Bel Alton, Maryland. He graduated from Texas A & M University in 2008 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Urban Forestry. Dan was in the Army Corps of Cadets, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and participated in Rugby throughout college and he remains active in Rugby.
Dan came to us with three years of previous experience with a central Texas corporate tree company and started here at Certified Arbor Care in September of 2012. His professional certifications and licenses include: ISA Certified Arborist TX-3748A and Texas Department of Agriculture Licensed Commercial Pesticide Applicator #0521152.
